SEWA Day

Sewa involves performing an act of kindness without expectation of reward. It is performed selflessly and without ulterior motive. West Lodge has been awarded The Sewa Pioneers Award for its previous projects, and this year we continued to spread the message of Sewa.

This year, each class completed a sewa project - a huge range of activities were carried out: children created bookmarks for the elderly; donated items to Banardos in Pinner; made cards and drew pictures for children in hospital; decorated plant pots and planted seeds and hosted elderly members of the community for an afternoon of tea and entertainment.

Our next activity linked to Sewa will be another Knit Aid event on Friday 25th November, where we will be hosting a finger knitting workshop. If you are an expert knitter and are able to help out at the workshop during the afternoon of 25th November, please contact the school office.
