As a parent at West Lodge Primary School since 2021, I have seen first-hand the positive impact the school has on its pupils. My children, Syana and Jovan, have benefitted immensely from the school’s supportive environment and strong sense of community, and I am keen to give something back by serving as a governor.

I began my career as a secondary school science teacher through the Teach First programme. Those years were incredibly fulfilling and gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of high-quality, inclusive education. Since leaving teaching, I have remained committed to education, supporting others through mentoring and coaching and providing work experience opportunities. I am now keen to contribute more formally again.

Over the past 20 years, I have built my career in and alongside the NHS and spent six years in management consulting providing advisory support to NHS organisations. My work has involved leading large-scale improvement programmes focused on financial sustainability, performance and organisational change. These roles have required me to analyse complex information, ask constructive questions and support leadership teams to deliver better outcomes.

I am excited by this opportunity and believe my experience, curiosity, commitment and genuine desire to make a positive difference to the West Lodge community will enable me to contribute fully to this role.
