• West Lodge has been Awarded the Music Mark

  We are excited to announce that we have been recognised by Harrow Music Service for our commitment to a broad and balanced Music curriculum and our variety of extra-curricular musical activities.  As a result, we have been awarded the Music Mark for the academic year 2021/2022. 

• Year 2 - India Day

  Year 2 had a fantastic day celebrating India Day! They enjoyed a Bollywood dance workshop, played some Indian games and created some Rangoli inspired artwork. There was even time to sample some Indian food!

  

• Young Voices

  43 of our Year 5/6 Choir were involved in the Young Voices Concert at the OVO Arena in Wembley.  The children performed a number of musical items including a Beatles Medley and the West Lodge favourite - Power in Me.  It was wonderful to be part of this live musical event with over 4700 children singing.  Thank you to all the children who took part and for the ongoing support of their parents and carers, 90 of whom were in the audience on the night.  We look forward to being a part of this event again next year as we recognise the value of the arts on children's mental and physical wellbeing.   

  

• Year 4 activities for the Children who did not go to the Gordon Brown Centre

  Below are pictures of some of the activities the Year 4 children who did not go to the Gordon Brown Centre did at school. The activities included nature art, a scavenger hunt, forest school activities (fire lighting, making monster faces with clay, toasting marshmallows, pond dipping).

  

• Year 4 - Trip to Gordon Brown Centre

  The children (and adults) had the most incredible time at the Gordon Brown Centre, as did those who stayed at West Lodge. The children continually challenged themselves throughout and were a credit to the school. There will be a presentation to parents on Wednesday 25th May to go through the whole experience and share all of the special moments that we had.
