Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club provides a welcoming and friendly environment for all children at West Lodge Primary School. We provide breakfast which consists of cereal, toast, bagels and fruit. The activities we provide include opportunities for children to develop the social skills, problem solving skills and creative flair.

 

Many activities take place each morning.  Children have free choice in indoor and outdoor play.  If there is a focus week in the school, breakfast club will also follow that theme e.g. healthy eating week.

 

When is Breakfast Club?

 

Monday to Friday - Term time only

7.45am – 8.45am

 

7.45am - meet and greet

 

8.00am - start breakfast and take part in activities

 

8.35am - tidy and organise staff to escort children to their class for school

 

Where is Breakfast Club?

 

In West Lodge School’s dining hall.

 

Food, Health and Hygiene

 

All food provided is healthy, taking into account of new food health and hygiene standards.

 

We provide a simple breakfast of cereal, toast, bagels and crumpets but can adapt the menu to take into account dietary and allergy requirements. Please discuss with Club Leader in advance.
