I joined the Governing body at West Lodge as a Local Authority appointed Governor in September 2017.

Having grown up in Pinner and being fortunate to have attended West Lodge myself, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be involved in supporting our school and working alongside a wonderful team of Staff and Governors, who are all dedicated to helping children achieve their full potential at West Lodge and beyond.

I studied Linguistics at UCL, so the importance of early years education struck a particular chord with me - children learn best in a caring and supportive environment which considers their individual needs, and at the same time empowering them to thrive. As a parent of a child in Year 1, I feel proud to say West Lodge has created this environment, which is welcoming, nurturing and facilitates a sense of belonging.

I work as Relationship Manager at an Investment Management firm which advocates acting with social responsibility, so I’ve been privileged to work on various mentoring programmes such as ‘UpReach’ and ‘Inspiring the Future’ alongside my day job – I’ve loved getting to know communities, building relationships, all whilst championing education and inclusion.

I’m so pleased to be part of West Lodge’s journey as it goes from strength to strength for our children and community alike.
