West Lodge Shines at Harrow Film Festival
The Harrow Film Festival was a spectacular event for West Lodge Primary School, with several of our talented students receiving top honors. The EYFS children created a wonderful film about friendship, which won the top prize in its category. Their film beautifully illustrated the importance of connection and camaraderie among friends.
In the upper key stage two category, the Year 6 Digital Leaders, Anica, Amy, and Aniya, earned a well-deserved runners-up trophy for their impressive short animation, "Connecting to Nature." Their work was recognised for its creativity and message about the environment.
Annabelle, a talented Year 5 pupil, won the upper key stage two award with her film "Musical Connections." Her film captivated the audience with its artistic portrayal of music and animation.
All the films were showcased on the big screen at the Harrow Arts Centre, providing an unforgettable experience for the children who enjoyed seeing their hard work come to life in such a grand setting.
Overall, it was a memorable evening filled with joy and pride for all the participants and attendees. Congratulations to all our young filmmakers for their fantastic achievements!
