I am delighted to join West Lodge Primary as a Governor. It is a privilege to serve my local community and be part of such a diverse governing body. Joining the West Lodge community provides a real opportunity to support a thriving and inclusive school.
As an Assistant Headteacher of a secondary school currently working in Hounslow (and previously in Southwark), I have gained an enormous amount of experience understanding the nuances of school leadership and delivery of academic outcomes in education. Being a Governor will allow me to bring my insight and expertise from this area to the West Lodge community. I am also an English teacher with a huge passion for literature and developing literacy skills. In a previous life, I worked in the legal field and obtained invaluable skills from this sphere.
I hope to contribute to finding the spark in all those that are connected to West Lodge, particularly the young children that our wonderful staff teach and care for on a daily basis.
