I was born and raised in Harrow and went to Nower Hill High School. My husband and I moved back to Pinner nearly 5 years ago to raise our two daughters, who are in Year 3 and Year 5 at West Lodge. As a parent, I have witnessed first-hand the dedication of the teachers and parents towards the school and I became a Governor because I want to see the school continue to thrive.
I have always been interested in the public sector and have a Masters in Public Administration. I have spent the bulk of my career working in this sector and therefore have a good understanding about how schools work and the challenges that we are likely to face in the forthcoming years.
I am currently a Head of Communications for a joint venture working on a major transport construction programme. I previously worked at Transport for London for over 10 years as Head of External for the Underground, Rail and Crossrail and at Brunel University London. I was previously a Councillor for the London Borough of Harrow.
As the daughter of a teacher, I have always had a strong interest in education. I very much believe in the West Lodge ethos that each child has a spark within them, and am extremely proud to be a Governor at a school that endeavours to make this happen.
